Outreach Support Worker – Starting now, and 2025

Become part of our amazing team of outreach support workers and group program facilitators! The role includes providing 1:1 outreach, support, and outdoor group programs to young people between the age of 10 and 30 years old. This includes young people with disabilities on the NDIS, young people in foster care under DCJ, & and homeless and displaced youth. This is typically through outdoor adventure activities that help them develop in areas such as confidence, self worth, social skills, emotional regulation and behavioural strategies, and various other capacity building goals in their life while operating in a trauma informed and therapeutic framework overseen by our therapy team.

Taree Outreach Coordinator – Starting 2025

If you have skills in leadership, enjoy growing and managing a team, networking with other organisations and services, but still want to spend time on the ground working with young people, this is the role for you! This role requires a high level of self direction, a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS, skills in rostering and coordinating a team, knowledge of the local Taree area and local services, as well as the care, passion and energy to work with the young people.

Adventure-based Counsellor – Starting 2025

If you’re a qualified counsellor or social worker looking for a more effective way to connect with struggling young people through outdoor adventure activities while journeying alongside them, this is the role for you! Typically our young people are between 10-30 years old and come from variety of backgrounds but often with significant trauma, anxiety and depression, or disability. Being able to build rapport through a preferred activity of the young person while maintaining a trauma informed approach helps build trust and safety for the young person that is the basis for any therapeutic relationship. The sense of fun, companionship and adventure creates a space that the young person wants to engage in giving opportunity for meaningful conversations and experiences.

Administration Officer – Starting 2025

This roll is for someone who gets satisfaction in organisation, efficiency, systems and problem solving. Good communication skills (both verbal and email), comprehensive understanding of the NDIS, skills in managing teams, and experience in accounting/invoicing software Xero are essential in the role.
